How Gabor Maté Unlearned Zionism

Dr. Maté spent over 20 years in family practice and palliative care before dedicating more than a decade to working with patients facing addiction and mental illness in Vancouver’s Downtown East Side. His book on addiction won the Hubert Evans Prize for literary non-fiction. For his innovative medical contributions and writing, he received the Order of Canada and the Civic Merit Award from Vancouver.
